An all-out thoroughbred raceboard, the fully redesigned 14′ Elite MSL 800 inflatable paddleboard is our fastest, stiffest board. Built in new super-light, ultra-stiff MSL 800 double-drop-stitch material with RSS battens plus FFC nose-rod to lock in stiffness, it\u2019s extraordinarily rigid yet weighs less than 10kg. A real contender in the 14’0 fleets \u2013 there\u2019s simply no need to feel outgunned by a hardboard…<\/p>\n

This versatile racer is truly competitive across all disciplines \u2013 from technical to long-distance, flat-water to downwinders to surf-racing. Long, drawn-out rails tapering to a rounded pintail ensure amazing glide and distance per stroke, while 26″ of width marries high speed with full-power stability.<\/p>\n

An intuitive variable traction deckpad and reworked rail risers provide a firm footing for confident paddling and effective footsteering. A perfectly balanced central handle and forward side handles for beachstarts and transitions complete a performance-driven, race-winning machine \u2013 finished with adjustable flat bungees, a bottle holder, and M6 accessory mount for training practicality.<\/p>\n

\nMSL\u00ae (Monocoque Structural Laminate) is the world\u2019s leading drop-stitch. Exclusive to Red Paddle Co boards, it\u2019s made to our exact specifications.
\nMonocoque<\/strong>: meaning the coating is integral to the structure. MSL\u00ae drop-stitch technology integrates a highly durable, reinforced coating to the ultra-high-definition weave to form an inseparable base layer.
\nStructural<\/strong>: the high-tensile drop-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, meaning Red boards can be inflated to provide unrivalled stiffness and confidence, no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions.
\nLaminate<\/strong>: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL\u00ae stiffer at lower pressures.<\/p>\n

Forward Flex Control (FFC):<\/strong> The revolutionary FFC is a patented system designed to make Red Paddle Co\u2019s 12\u20196 and 14’0 Elite the most rigid available ensuring the paddler a competitive edge.<\/p>\n

Our Forward Flex Control or FFC for short, works by controlling flex from above the top forward section of the iSUP. The all-new FFC stiffens the front section of the paddleboard to remove flex created in sprinting phases of a race. The Forward Flex Control system consists of a two part carbon rod that is inserted before fully inflating the board completely by clipping it into the mounting
\nbase on the nose and locking it into the standing area EVA deck base with a lever that puts it under load. The rod then stabilises and therefore stiffens the forward section of the board and eliminates almost all the flex in the nose. When combined with the RSS battens as well as inflation of 20PSI, the result is seriously impressive.<\/p>\n

Rocker Stiffening System (RSS):<\/strong> Unique to Red Paddle Co. \u2013 The Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) was designed and patented to make the more performance orientated Red Paddle Co boards even stiffer. Paddleboards that feature RSS come with two stiffening battens which can be slotted into pockets that are individually laminated onto the side of the board (ensuring a perfect fit). It has been proven to make the board up to 45% stiffer.<\/p>\n

RAIL FOOT HOLDS:<\/strong> Raised rails allow the rider to dig their feet into the board. This will give a grounded stance meaning more energy can be channelled into each paddle stroke.<\/p>\n

Timeless design<\/strong>: The Red Paddle Co iconic design has been updated for 2021 with a more streamlined look and feel. The extended Red embossed deck pad now reaches right down to the tail, wraps closer to the rails, and offers superior comfort and grip. The diamond-cut rear provides extra stability for performing step back turns, or for riding in bigger waves.<\/p>\n
